We feel so incredibly blessed to have been able to find such wonderful friends in the Kaesers. They have been so incredibly gracious to us and have always offered to help in any way that they can, whether it be extending an invite for dinner, offering to look after Owen so we can have a date night, extending a helping hand with projects around the house, and much much more. We always have such a wonderful time when we are all together and Owen has an absolutely blast playing with their little boy, Bode.
About a week and a half ago, we were invited over for our very first Tepee party. Although we didn't know exactly what it was, we were excited to take part. When we arrived, we were greeted with a real little tepee for the boys, an open-fire, and the cutest headdresses that I've ever seen. Amber had made two headdresses with feathers for each boy, one named "Black Hawk" for Bode and the other named "Sitting Bull" for Owen. They were so precious strutting around like real Indian men.
The menu for dinner was just perfect for the theme. We roasted hotdogs over an open fire along with marshmallows for dessert. The boys played in the yard and we just hung out, which is my favorite part. When the sun went down, we pulled our chairs up next to the fire and Wade played his guitar which the boys loved that for sure! I was even surprised with a birthday cake that Amber had made.
We had so much fun and Owen had a ball! Good friends are hard to come by and we are so excited that we have had the opportunity to meet such a great family. But mostly, I am especially grateful for the love they have shown Owen. It means the world that they think that much of him and would include him in such a special event. Here's a special Thank You to Amber, Bo, and Bode for all you do! Your kindness and love is beyond words and we are so grateful to have found such wonderful friends as you.
