The Butler Family: Happy Birthday Summer!

We had a very busy weekend this past weekend. We went to Owensboro for the weekend for Easter. On top of that, it was Summer's birthday. She was turning the big 3 and she had her party at the park on Saturday. She and Owen are big buddies. He is her size so she thinks he is big like her. She always run after him and says, "Come here Baby Owen!" And no matter what the subject is, it is always "Baby Owen!" But the cutest thing is that she always wants to hug and kiss him and hold his hand. It is so funny to watch them together.

The fact that the party was at the park was right up Owen's alley. He loves the park! And he took full advantage of it too!! He played and played, as well as, enjoyed some much deserved birthday cake. It was such a beautiful day outside and we were so happy to join in on the birthday festivities. It's hard to believe that Summer turned 3, but mostly that we are almost halfway there too already. It will be here before we know it. That's for sure.

Happy Birthday Summer Lee! You made one very endearing 3 year old! I believe that she even picked up the perfect nickname from Uncle Wade. When you ask her what her name is, she sweetly replies, "Summer Lee Butts . . . and when Uncle Wade asked her what her name was he thought she said Bumble Bee Butts!! And without fail, she started referring to herself as Bumble Bee Butts!! It was so cute and really fits her! She sure makes the cutest Bumble Bee ever!!
