Owen and I slept on an air mattress in the living room the night before Easter, so when he woke up he was on eye level with an overflowing basket from the Easter Bunny. He sat up with his hair sticking up all over the place and pointed and said "ooh-ooh!" He knew exactly who it was for. Then he went right to it, picked it up, and turned it upside down and dumped everything out all over the floor.
It was filled with everything Easter like: a ball and glove, carrot ball bat, a new Batman thermos, a chocolate bunny, tons of candy, and a new kite. The Easter bunny was really good to him this year. And, he also got some good treats from the family. Aunt Sis and Uncle Jeff got him a new farm book and little motorcycle, and Memaw and Pepaw got him the coolest set of Spiderman pajamas that he had to wear immediately and some other cute goodies.
The look on his face when the Easter bunny came to see him was priceless!! He was very excited!
